Setelah bertahun tahun menunggu akhirnya BITCOIN menembus resistensi besar dengan kenaikan mencapai $23,539 pada tanggal 17 Desember 2020, Pada harga saat ini $ 23.539, bitcoin (BTC, + 14,37%) naik 8,8% selama 24 jam, menurut Indeks Harga Bitcoin (BPI) CoinDesk.

Nilai Bitcoin telah naik berlipat ganda selama tiga bulan terakhir bahkan jika melampaui $20,000 menurut beberapa analis ini akan terus naik mencapai $100,000 sepanjang 2021. Menurut Ross Middleton, CEO DversiFi, kenaikan harga akan menguntungkan sektor crypto lainnya, seperti ether (ETH, + 11,67%), litecoin (LTC, + 22,01%) dan XRP (+ 22,84%) masih turun 58% menjadi 88% dari level tertinggi masing-masing yang dicapai tiga tahun lalu  dan ini  termasuk pembiayaan terdesentralisasi (DeFi). 

Untuk saat ini beberapa pasar pertukaran menyatakan tidak ada perlawanan besar di atas $22,000 sentimen pasar saat ini sangat bullish dan tekanan jual sangat rendah, setidaknya ini menjadi salah satu analisa menunjukan harga Bitcoin akan terus meningkat bahkan hingga ke $100,000 menurut "Willy Woo" yang tertulis dalan tweetnya beberapa hari yang lalu :

Bitcoin telah naik di atas level $ 18k sekali lagi dan segudang aset crypto naik antara 1-6% selama 24 jam terakhir.

Setelah turun ke level terendah $ 16.300 per koin, bitcoin (BTC) telah rebound 11,3% ke tempat harga saat ini di $ 18.138 per unit. BTC masih naik 33% selama 30 hari terakhir, 54% selama 90 hari terakhir, dan 139% terhadap USD selama 12 bulan terakhir.
